As a software developer within fullstack at Sigma Industry Development, you will:

  • Develop Front-end solutions which are cross-browser compatibility in HTML, CSS, JavaScript using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Create Back-end solutions using server-side scripting languages like Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, etc.
  • Ensure back-end functionality using SQL or NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Design and model databases using CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, including query optimization and database performance tuning
  • Deploy, maintain and host servers (e.g., Heroku, AWS, Azure) using different server configurations, API design and application architectures
  • Maintain a qualitative version control for source code management
  • Use Development Tools such as Development Environments (IDEs), package managers (e.g., npm, pip) and task runners and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
  • Test and debugg via unit testing and test-driven development, including debugging tools and techniques
  • Have a solid knowledge of common security practices and vulnerabilities, but also implementation of secure coding practices

Grundläggande kvalifikationer

Education

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering

Know-How

  • Programming Languages - Proficiency in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Ryby, PHP and others
  • Version Control - Using Git and GitHub
  • Algorithmic Thinking - Creating efficient algorithms to solve various computational problems
  • Software Design Patterns - Understanding and application of common design patterns to create scalable and maintainable code
  • Quality Assurance - Skill in defining and conducting unit tests to ensure software quality
  • Agile Methodologies - Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban for efficient project management

Linguistics

  • Swedish and English (spoken and written)
